Role before claims

BumperHaul Source coordinates trailer procurement evidence

Our function is to help US business buyers frame a requirement, approach suitable original manufacturers, normalize quotations and organize the evidence handoff. We do not manufacture trailers, hold dealer authorization, certify products or act as importer of record.

Who the process serves

Procurement tasks, not invented customer stories

Fleet standardization

A fleet manager needs consistent interior dimensions, tie-down points, brakes and service parts across several units. The brief separates mandatory common items from optional configuration splits.

Dealer stock planning

A commercial dealer compares body sizes and option mixes without confusing a series maximum with the rating of each quoted unit. Quantity by configuration is explicit.

Mobile service build

A contractor needs payload left after shelving, equipment and electrical fit-out. The request asks for empty weight, GVWR, axle basis and usable interior clearance.

Event logistics

An event operator values loading access, floor durability and repeat routes. Ramp geometry, door clearances, cargo restraint and towing assumptions become quote fields.

Equipment transport

A project team compares flatbed and enclosed options against equipment dimensions, center of gravity, securement and site access rather than selecting by exterior length alone.

Distribution support

A distributor needs document consistency and delivery visibility for multiple destinations. The Incoterm, packing, inspection and handoff evidence are itemized per shipment.

What we coordinate

Requirement capture, candidate factory outreach, quotation normalization, clarification logs, optional sample or inspection requests, and the document-and-delivery handoff. Supplier statements remain subject to evidence for the exact order.

What remains separate

Engineering approval, financing, insurance, import-of-record duties, customs decisions, FMVSS or state registration conclusions, final supplier due diligence and contract acceptance stay with the buyer and qualified advisers.

Evidence boundary

What should be tied to the exact trailer?

Public specification pages can show useful fields, but they do not prove this site's access, the factory's current offer or the quoted unit's applicability.

Ratings

Request the GVWR, GAWR, curb or empty weight, payload basis, tire and brake configuration for the actual build. Maximum family figures are not substitutes.

Configuration

Bind quotations to drawing revision, body and door dimensions, floor and wall construction, interior fit-out, coupler and electrical interface.

Destination requirements

Ask what documents the supplier can provide, then have exact-model and model-year applicability checked by qualified destination-side parties.

Commercial scope

Record currency, payment milestones, sample or tooling charges, inspection, packing, freight basis and validity date. Unknowns remain open items rather than assumed inclusions.

Give the sourcing process a controlled starting point

A short but explicit trailer requirement lets supplier differences appear in the response instead of hiding inside inconsistent assumptions.
